Manju P. Jois, Ashtanga Yoga guru of Mysore, South India, is the oldest son 
of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, recognized worldwide as the foremost authority on Ashtanga
Yoga. Manju`s practice began at age 7 and he began teaching with his father at
 age 15. Manju has taught the traditional Ashtanga method for over 50 years. 
Spanning 25 countries, Manju's world Ashtanga teaching tour is 
ever expanding. Manju's dedication to his life of teaching has brought the benefits of the 
ancient tradition of Ashtanga Yoga to many students around the world, as he guides 
each to "Unite with Yourself."

Q&A, Mysore practice, ayurvedic cooking

All levels of experience are welcome, some experience in the practice of Ashtanga Yoga is required. This is a nice opportunity for Manju`s students to practice with him. After practice, Manju will cook for us and we spend nice valuable time together. All his students and new one are welcome.

It is first time we do this session with Manju and I am truly looking forward to it. Manju always adjust to the flow of energy in the room, to students and is very easy going. 

In mysore class, you can practice any series you would like to work on. During your practice, you will get plenty of attention from Manju and his assistants. If you would like help with some exact asana, please wait until we see you. This time is for you, so please, do not hesitate to require help or advise and write down questions you would like to ask. As Manju says: "Any expectation always comes with disappointment." 

We will prepare the food together. Expect feeling like at home, nothing fancy, nothing serious, just time together with a nice meal. Manju will explain the use of spices etc. I will try to capture the recipes and share them with you later. I do not know, what Manju will cook yet, but be sure, Manju is a great chef and you will enjoy the food.
